The European Development Days (EDD) are returning after a one year break to the calendar of events in the field of international development assistance. The event will take place on 3 and 4 June in Brussels. People interested in participating in this event, will have the possibility to register online from 23 March. Detailed information about this year’s edition will be published on the website: http://eudevdays.eu/.
European Development Days are one of the biggest conferences in the world focusing on development assistance and are organized periodically, since 2006, by the EU. The event gathers Head of States and governments, EU and UN institutions as well as representatives of the civil society, of academia and of the private sector.
The conference will be a flagship event in the framework of the “European Year for Development 2015” – EYD 2015. The main theme of the meetings will be the motto of the EYD: “Our World, Our Dignity, Our Future”. Presentations and discussions will indicate the ways that members of EU and its citizens might contribute to the reducing of poverty and promoting human rights worldwide.
